The South Dakota Second Century Habitat Fund Board is currently seeking an Executive Director. This position manages all day-to-day operations for the Second Century Habitat Fund Board and oversees all efforts in raising money for habitat, works collaboratively with and reports to the Board of Directors on all administrative items, and oversees the contracted Development Director to ensure peak performance.
SALARY DETAILS:
Contracted position offering up to $130,000 depending on experience. No employee benefits will be offered as part of the contract salary package.
ABOUT THE SECOND CENTURY HABITAT FUND BOARD:
The Second Century Habitat Fund is a nonprofit 501 c3 corporation that works to educate landowners on the importance of grassland to improve pheasant habitat in South Dakota. The Fund is governed by a Board of Directors representing landowners, business owners, pheasant preserve operators and community leaders across South Dakota.
Mission: To be advocates of habitat stewardship, collaborate with community partners, and be conservation leaders by fundraising money for pheasant habitat across South Dakota.
Vision: To restore and retain pheasant habitat development while providing awareness to the importance of sustaining South Dakota’s strong outdoor heritage of pheasant hunting for future generations.
