Wildlife habitat is crucial to the South Dakota way of life and our hunting traditions. So too are the farmers and ranchers who tirelessly protect the prairies, rivers, forests, and farmlands so that those lands continue to produce and provide. As a result, our agriculture and hunting industries are strong, collecting $10.6+ billion in revenue for the state annually. This success is the direct result of an innate respect for the land and a century of sound stewardship.
